wicked wheel install
Question? thinking about installing WW on 99.5 I have read about installation withoput removal of the turbo...... saw a clip on utube.... my question is if you donot remove the exhaust side of the turbo how do you get the compressor wheel off the shaft....... if it can be messed up I bet I can do it. thanks for your reponses

you dont have to pull the turbo. You can take a 12 point 5/16 socket, quarter drive mind you and take the 5 bolts holding the comp housing off. You also have to remove the wastegate can, ten mm nuts on the back of it. Pretty easy to do that way. You dont have to take the exhaust clamps loose and worry about the exhaust leaks if you dont remove the turbo.

I did mine myself too. But I did not remove the turbo. Took me about an hour. Because I loosened up the dp. Most of the time was getting the dp lined back up.
