Need HELP!

Dave sent me a chip for my truck and i can't find the PCM code. He sent me the DP-tuner link and i took off the PCM harness and there is no white sticker on it. One side only has something writtten in black marker and the other has some numbers and letters stamped into the grey plastic, but nothing that looks like a PCM code. Are there any other ways to check for this code? I put the truck back together for the night so any help would be appreciated.

I also forgot, i tried to get the PCM out of the truck and i got it loose, but it was tuck for some reason. Anyone else have this trouble? I tried jiggling it but it wouldn't come past a certain point. All bolts were removed according to the diagram on DP's website.

Did you disconnect the harness going to it. To disconnect the harness you have to do it from the engine compartment. It is bolted to the pcm.

it is in there at an angle, you must pull up on the black housing, and out.
Did you take the bolt out of the black plastic housing also?

I took both bolts out of the housing and the one on the pcm connector out. I had the whole unit very loose but it was just stuck past a certain point. So now that i know to pull up and out, do you guys know of any other ways to identify my pcm code?

As I recall there is a flange on the back that kind of hooks in. You have to pull the back of the PCM toward the passengers side and it should come right out.

On the back cover, where a chip would go, there is a plastic cover that tells the code, or, if not there, look on the front of the PCM, where the wiring harness plugs in, and it should be printed on there too.

I had the same problem and it ended up being the 10mm sob in the engine compartment.
