PHP Hydra

Okay so I installed my PHP Hydra Wed night after getting off a 14 hour shift, so all I had time to do was make sure the truck fired up. It did. I tested it the next morning on the way to work. I have to say that I was NOT impressed. I had my brother who has driven my truck quite a bit drive it today, thinking it was just me, and he felt the same way about it. It feels as though it is a stock truck. I have from, 65 tow and daily drive settings, all the way up to 140 extreme, and it is no quicker in any of them. I know the chip is working for many reasons, but the obvious one is that the high idle file works, as well as the no start. I also had a chip previously installed, so I know it is not a cleaning issue on the PCM. Is this normal? I do not know where to start. I was expecting a lot more, as I have run Bill's tunes before on my OBS, and my brother's OBS. Not to mention all of the good things I have heard on here about the quality of his tunes. That is what leads me to believe there is just something wrong. Anyway, any help you guys can give me would be appreciated. As always, thanks guys.

-Tim

You sure the tunes are for correct PCM code? I have the Phoenix chip from php on my 01 with 120 race being my highest tune and it definitely doesn't feel stock.

Yeah, I used the hex code calculator in the software. I can double check today though.

Contact Jay at PHP, there is something not right, trust me. You will feel the difference in the tunes, the nice thing about the Hydra is I loaded about every tune I could for my truck, and they all work perfect.

I just had Bill look over the files for the VSAA4M9 .hex calibrations and everything looks to be proper. With the information that you have given so far, we suspect that your issue is injector related not tuning related.

Do you have a way to read what your ICP psi is at full throttle on the 140x file? Also what the IPR % is at full throttle?
