PASSED Emissions in 80DD

So I'm sitting around waiting for them to do my emissions test (after waiting for the three guys in front of me) and after they've had my truck for about 10mins I think "Oh $hit! I never took it out of the 80DD it's usually in and set it back to Stock".

I was happy to find I Passed just fine

Thx - PHP!

I don't know what they actually looked at, it was out of my site they just drove-off with it into a bay somewhere.

You CA guys have a whole different level of this though

I live in Cali as well. Earlier this year when I had to smog my truck, I brought it in to my buddies shop. I told him about my chip and if he needed to remove it for it to pass how to take it off. We ran it in the EXTREME mode and it passed with flying colors! I do have the CA smog setting from TW so I'm sure that played a big role in it. But none the less i had it smogged in the EXTREME setting and it passed fine! He didnt do any adjustments or anything! We wanted to see how it would do in that setting and it was perfectly fine! TW really knows what hes doing!!

i think your buddy hooked you up lol
granted my truck runs clean on 140 ext so it would pass the smoke opacity test

having any sort of device hooked to the pcm is illegal. it would fail a visual test at a different shop that knew what they were looking for.
