Custom Tunes????

Have a 2001 f250 4x4 lariat and im looking at putting a ts 6 position chip on it. I have been reading up on who makes the "best" custom tunes and just cant seem to decide. Im leaning away from tony wildman because I have heard he is just so hard to get in touch with. What about Beans or Gearhead??? anyone have experience with them? Any help is much appreciated.

Truck has cold air intake and straight pipe.

Beans tunes are Beans
Swamps is done by Jonathan of No Limit
P.I.S. is also No Limit

I've run PHP, very good tunes, horrible customer service. Can take forever to get tunes.
I run Gearhead now, less smoky, and fantastic transmission programming, fantastic customer service.

With just those basic mods a php Phoenix will be your most economical chip at ~300 bucks. The others will be around ~400-425. Their customer service is just fine if you're going standard tunes which is all you will need with just intake and exhaust. The tunes don't smoke much if any. EGTs stayed very manageable for me. You will want to get gauges if you don't already have them. Don't pay the 298 for ts tuner with canned tunes. If you are going to do that get the Phoenix. No experience with any of the other highly respected tuners but when I researched I couldn't find any negative reviews about the Phoenix chip.

2012 f250CCLB, 285/70/17 on vtec wheels
Mini maxx, weight reduction pipe, egr block plates (to be installed)

Allow me to clear this up........

Jonathan Jones ownes and operates No Limit Tuning and Design (NLTD)
He does all of Beans tuning
He does tuning for P.I.S
He does tuning for RiffRaff

We DO NOT OR EVER DID tuning for Swamps...That is a Different Jonathan all together and a pretty good tuner in his own rite.

Thx. Didn't realize there were 2 Johnny's that operated so close to swamps. Seems odd to have so many 7.3 shops so close together.

With the research I did I have a Hydra and Gearhead Tunes in the mail heading my way as we speak. Pretty sure by others comments I read online I will be plenty happy getting rid of my 10 yr old Edge Evolution and replacing it with this setup.
