300,000km on motor and want to install bully dog triple gt. Too many kms on motor?

Hello, I recently purchased a late '99 single cab F-350 dually. It has 180,000 miles on it and was interested in installing a bully dog tuner. Is there too many miles on the motor to install a tuner? I am looking for a little more performance and towing power.

Thank you.

No, it will be fine. I would get something besides a bully dog though

What would you suggest. I have been researching for a little while and found the BD on sale at my local speed shop.

I had 245,000 miles on my truck when I had the PHP Hydra chip installed, and WOW what a difference in the truck.

+1 Stay away from any tuning you can buy at a local speed shop or walmart.

You need tunes from a company that specializes in your truck.

No Limits, DP, PHP, Gearhead, etc... In no particular order.

I didn't install my Gearhead Tunes until 300K miles, I can tell some OEM parts are tired but I'm replacing them when I can.
You should have no problem with the truck only having 180k,
