where to start ???

i have a e99 f350 7.3 have a ts6 and full magnaflow 4" no muffler i want to build it and have some questions. id like to eventually end up over time with a 1000hp diesel street/drag/pull truck

1. injectors ?
2.turbo?
3.tranny options build off my stock or buy a whole new tranny
4.engine conponets
5.anything else you guy can come with ?

injectors stage III's
turbo-get a compound from swamp diesel
id build your stock tranny but get it done professionally
your gonna need better rods, pistons, cam, valvesprings, and head studs and definitely a better hpop
Other than that all I can say is your gonna need lots of engine building and do some research because what I said probably gets it up to 700 HP. Get a tuner too like a DP or a chip with custom tunes

i apreciate the help im doing the tranny now then working towards the motor i think then turbo and injectors thanks for the advice

I'm guessing its an E40D automatic tranny? I had a local drivetrain shop build my E40D rated to 600 HP for only $1500

Got about 20k? Really closer to 30k...

Motor wise your going to need

Billet rods
Bed plate or girter
Fully filled block
H-11 studs
Beehive springs
Fire rings
Push Rods
Port job on heads

Trans wise... LOL...

Just Call up BTS and send them a check for about 7k...

Injectors... 400/400. or 600/400...

Turbo or Turbos...

Tuning

Nitrous

Are you sure you understand how much it takes to get to 1k? There are less then a handful of true 1k 7.3's out there.

Did you get that in writing? Because for $1500, that tranny would scream and chit with less then 350 behind it.

That's what the guy told me. Ill have to ask him the brand of parts he used to build them but he said they were top of the line. I don't believe it either but with the future build i have planned with the truck i sure as hell hope its rated at that.

There is no way, not even if he gave you the parts that it would stand up to 600hp...

A quality TC alone is $1300...

Billet input is $300-400

I'm just telling you. I've been told that same story before, when I blew up my first trans in my current truck...

OK im going to talk to him tomorrow. I plan on making this truck a 600hp truck and if he put sh** parts im either going to tell him to put the good sh** in it or hes going to small claims. Thanks for the help CSI

i mean i would just like a one of a kind built diesel would love to be at 1k i understand it will take lots of money i guess my main reawson for starting this is bc i dont know what to purchase first i dont want to buy a turbo now and then have to buy 3 different more till i get it right or injector size you know im new to this all and trying to learn it as i go and not make to many costly mistakes
