Want to reroute exhaust, what brand is this?

Can anyone place the brand on this exhaust? Bought from a buddy and he doesn;t remember. I want to get an elbow to get the exhaust to exit more to the side instead of to the rear.

2001 F250, 4 inch with tiny muffler. The muffler can be placed either direction, he said it had louvers one way. The tip is also really long, and runs more straight back than out to the side.

Thanks!

you could take the piece off and have it bent.

or you might be able to buy just the tailpipe piece.

if you dont want a muffler you can find a piece of 4 inch pipe to replace ti as well.

Not likely to find someone with a mandrel bender with a 4 inch die.

If I can nail the brand down, I'm hoping I can just order a new rear tailpipe.

any true exhaust shop should have a mandrel that can do up to 5' probably be cheaper and less of a headache to leave it to a exhaust shop

Of all of the exhaust shops I've been to around here, none have a mandrel bender. Only a press bender. That's why I now make my own exhaust on my rigs using mandrel bent pieces from Summit, except this one is stainless. I don't have the stuff to TIG stainless.

blue99stroker, thanks for the tip. I may go this route.

I may have to go with a shorter tip though, this thing is LONG...

You give me TWO in the Metro area... And I've worked down there...

Make sure you mention MANDREL Bend...

Just because I know your FOS...

Mandrel Tubing Bender, Exhaust Bender | Baileigh Industrial

Not many exhaust shops can afford a $80,000 machine...

Manual Mandrel Bender HMB-1125 | Baileigh Industrial

Or an $8,000 unit before you even buy the die's for it...

Id go the Ebay route, probably your best bet. Unless you can find a shop with a mandrel bender but id almost bet they charge you $50 at least. Catch someone on a good day and it may only cost $5.

Man those are some spendy machines! Kinda curious where my buddy got his, it can do up to 5" but he only has dies up to 4" so works for me. We build DOM cages all day long on it but its great for exhaust also!
