Budget Build. Would like to make sure im headed in the right direction!

These are the mods I plan on doing. Im on a fairly strict budget. Just want someone to look my list over and make sure im doing the right thing. Truck has 247k on it.

Gauges boost and egt.

6637 air filter

Exhaust has muffler removed. It still has cat. Im in CA so im not sure what I can get away with.

Dp tuner pcm flash with 80e.

Riffraff compressor wheel.

As far as I know I have the orginal turbo. But it seems to be working great. 21psi on my scantool. What is limit on shaft play?

Thanks guys!

looks good... im assuming you have a 6 speed manual trans since you didnt list a trans temp gauge.

as far as being in ca there are people running TB exhaust all over the place out here.... open up your hood and see if your sticker says non catalyc or catalyc

ok so that just means when you go get smogged it has to have a cat in it... that being said im not aware of any exhaust manufacturer that makes a exhaust kit for a 7.3L with an option cat delete kit.. They eliminate the cat.

How much of a restriction is the cat? I'm going to do some research to see if they make high flow cats.

no sense in play'n with fire, bud. Im in Ca too. Get a 6637 BUT keep your stock intake setup for when smog time comes. Other than that, delete the muffler if you wish. Also, install the DP where you can remove it for when smog time comes too. You never know, WHO your going to run into, and do the test.

if in your name...tough, especially if you got a CA driver license. Now, put the truck in someone elses name, in AK, then your golden.

Buddy has property in WA. Has ALL his vehicles plated from there, lol.
