Turbo Noise???

I just got done installing a new turbo wheel from Riff Raff diesel. When i finished i took the truck for a ride in my 120hp setting and when the turbo spools at high boost it makes a wining sound. Its not the turbo whistle. Could this be a boost leak? Or what? Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Boost leak.

I would look at the intake spider boots.

Does it sound almost like a siren?
When is the last time you changed your oil?

I don't know exactly how to describe the sound, maybe kinda like a siren. The oil wasn't changed too long ago and I just checked it and the level is all good.

i think the sound you are hearing is normal.

are you hearing the sound going uphill or cruising at about 10-15 psi?

these wheels are noisy.

on another note.
does it make lots of noise when you shut the truck off? could be the wheel hitting the housing.

if you took the turbo off to install the wheel, you could have overtightened the turbo down restricting oil flow.

I don't have a boost gauge to see what psi its and but when I stop on the truck and it gets in the higher boost range sometimes it makes the noise but it doesn't sound like turbo whistle. I also left the turbo on to do the swap and i took the air intake side off the other day to make sure it wasn't hitting or anything.
