Stacks + normal exhaust & exhaust advice

I just got my first diesel just before the 4th. of July. Already Ive bought for it an Edge Juice & Attitude monitor and a AFE stage 2 aircleaner setup. What i wanna do next is an exhaust. First off Im looking at 4" turbo back setups. Is their any difference in performance(hp, tq, EGT's...) between the different brands? Id think not, but im not very experienced with oil burners yet.

Another idea im thinking about are running a set of stacks. Now Ill be the first to say i havent been the biggest fan of HUGE stacks, but do think they look cool. I have a friend who had stacks on his 98 12V Cummins and man, just at idle those f'ers were loud. Lately ive been thinking about combining the 2 setups, having working 4-5" stacks and a full 4" exhaust.

On My 99 Jeep TJ, I have an exhaust cutout & electric exhaust dump before the cat & muffler for when i wanna piss people off, and Ive thought about doing this on my truck. I could use a cutout and dump to control the stacks. When the dump is closed it would run into the exhaust, and when open flow into the stacks. I know this setup wouldnt be cheap but i would get the best of both worlds. Im not dead set on anything yet, so what is everyones opinion/ideas on this idea. Another issue id run into it i have a Touno cover, how could i make the 2 work together.

Stacks are great but I like the sound of a turbo back straight pipe. MBRP is definitely one of the best sounding mufflers if you decide to buy one.

aero turbine muffler, they are expensive bout 200 on ebay but you'll thank your self in the long run. I was running straight pipe and experiencing some high egts so I decided to try it and bam egts down 200 degrees and it idled smoother and had better top end. It sound dumb to get more power from a muffler than straight pipes but check it out you cant go wrong

Idk, I love my stacks, but some people around here hate the look of them...And of course if you use your bed they arent the best choice....I think they sound better than when I had a 4" straight pipe. And of course they definitely grab your attention.
