00 F-450 fontaine with banks power pack?

I'm looking at a 2000 F450 fontaine conversion dually, With a banks power pack in it. Can I upgrade the truck with the banks power pack in it? like injectors and some custom tunes? Or does the banks system already have a program running? Truck runs great, just doesnt have the kick my 97 f350 has.

u would have to take whatever banks chip/programmer off and put a good tuner on with custom tunes banks is one of those "off the shelve" performance companies that tends to be over priced for what you get

well there is no adjustment to it now so must be a chip. How would I find it? And how would I go about removing it. I pull it the truck has no programing right? Would I need to have the dealer pull it and reprogram it stock. Then install the new programer.

the chip would be on the pcm which is down by the parking brake if you remove the chip it will go to stock. be sure to take the keys out and put them in your pocket or disconnect the batteries to be sure the pcm isn't powered or you'll be needing a new pcm

the chip might be visible pending whether previous owner cut the plastic housing thats around the pcm to install the chip also there probably a wire hooked to a map sensor wire to a ground, remove it i'm not sure what it does the po of my truck had a banks on it but removed it before he sold it but left the wire

Junk the banks chip or w/e it is, and get a good one.

If I get the truck I plan on junking the banks chip, I just wanted to make sure I could with out messing up everything else like the trans command.

the trans command which isn't that great my buddy had one, will work without a banks chip but if you go to a custum chip you'll want to get rid of it b/c the custom tuners have good trans programing i've heard dont know personally b/c i have a manual
