DIY intake question

Hey yall,
I was looking at the directions for the Tymar DIY and I can't help but wonder what happens in wet weather. Is that a large concern? I live in Ohio and we get a good bit of rain. At least this year anyway. Thanks!!

my air filter is right behind my grill on my 06 and with the zoo dad mod you can see the filter through the grill, I've never had a problem with it getting wet
