best air intake?

Whats up fellow powerstrokers, does anyone know of a thread where an actual flow test (cfm) has been done on the different types of intake systems avaliable (k&n, AFE, S&B, ect.) to see if they really stack up. The reason I ask is my brother-in-law has a d-max and is a member of a duramax site and in one forum someone took the time to test several different aftermarket intakes with 1 test vehicle and it turns out that the intake system that flows best is the stock intake, thanks.

a d=max is different...their stock intake works good until 500hp or so... you get more hp with some and more tq with others but the stock is right in the middle. If you are looking for torque, airaid and s&b are the good ones, if you are looking for horsepower AFE and Injen are the route to go. If you are looking to break your truck K&N is good, and if you want to save money, you can do the DIY intake mod and get a decent increase of both HP and TQ. I only know the info from being in the industry, I don't have numbers to back this, but I have experience.

I've always used AFE's and never had a problem with em ie: 5.9 cummins, 6.6 Duramax, 6.0 and 6.4 Powerstrokes.
