Chip over handheld tuner

A few months ago my truck was broke into and they stole a bunch of nothing really... But they did get my SCT handheld tuner. My truck is in the tow tune as that's what I always drove it on. I just want to make sure that if I get a chip ie. TS or DP or whatever it will override the tune that's in there now, right? Thx.

x2 any chip you plug into the pcm will over ride the tuner.
