ATS Turbo

My buddies getting ready to sell his truck with a drop in replacement ats turbo ( not housing entire ats turbo) and wants 500 for it. He bought it used and says its gotta a good bit more power. Any comments or checking balance breakers?

ATS has not sold a drop in turbo for almost a decade. When they did it was a rebranded GTP-38r. I would be hesitant to buy it simply because of the age.

i just saw that they came out with one the other day. XDP was selling them for like 1500. but it looked like a pimped out stock turbo.

The XDP is just another rebranded big bad woof or flavor of the day journal bearing turbo.

the turbo i saw in the pic is different than any ats turbo ive seen before.

it also says pre-order and it comes with a billet wheel, so im guessing its new.

but the specs dont look as good as the 38r.
