CTS help 2002 7.3L

Installed a CTS and thermocouple this morning and I think I might be confusing what CAN be read via add-on and what IS read off the standard OBD-II port for a 2002 7.3L

If I want to read Turbo Boost, Fuel Press, Trans Temp, do I need to add on more sensors or should I be getting those readings off the stock OBD-II port?

As of now I can read the following PIDs:
Corrected Speed
Vehicle Speed
EAS EGT
Motor RPM
Manifold Press
Run Time
Odometer

That's substantially less than listed on the Edge website.

have you tried updating the software? you should be able to read everything on the list here: Edge Insight Gauges

you will need a separate FP sensor kit in order to read that thought... that kit runs 299.00 shipped.. but it does require the expandable EGT probe with the EAS starter kit... so if you have the standard non expendable EGT probe it wont work...

let me know if you have any questinos

Yeah, I did the initial update and then one after I set it up on the truck just to make sure. I've got A LOT less than listed. The MPG and a few others are ALREADY displayed on the truck so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Plan to call Edge tomorrow.

Are you entering the vin number on the CTS? I didn't enter the vin at first and I got limited pid's like your saying, then I manually entered the vin number and voila- all the pid's listed were available.

Yup, that worked for me. I took my laptop out to the truck, hooked up the Fusion software again, and for some reason it worked on the second try. Entered the VIN and I'm good to go.
