lift kits...

so ive been thinking for a while now that i want to lift my truck higher... ive been dabbling in a coilover conversion and have come up with 2 compannies that make them... first fabtech with there 8" which is rediculously priced at over 5k for the kit itself or skyjacker for a more moderate 2500ish.... i have no experiance with skyjacker and was wondering what you guys thought about there products.... if i dont go coilover im just gonna go with a 6.5 procomp lift with dual res. shocks up front... full leafs no blocks in back....the price dif is about 1000.00....

Leaf's are definately the way to go. Also, I don't even like the ride quality that dual shocks give, I feel that you only need one. Driven/rode in about a dozen trucks before and after they were lifted and that is my exp.

The coil over kit looks cool, but I wouldn't pay 5g's for it, especially since it is only an 8" system. If you don't care that it's not a coil over there is another member on this site that is offering an 8" BDS system for cheap that he took off his truck.

I'll get his name, brb.
