Best performance upgrades.

Obviously all of my current mods are in my signature. I was thinking about getting some better injectors, I heard some great things about Swamps, but I'm not sure who's the best (matter of opinion, I know). Don't have a HPOP yet, not quite sure what one to get, your opinions on this will be helpful as well. Also plan on getting a better turbo.

When it's all said and done, I'd like a 500 horsepower truck, maybe more depending on how deep I want to go into it later. It's my daily driver, so don't want to sacrifice reliability, but it will probably see the track from time to time. If there's any pointers or suggestions to make a good build, feel free to inform me. All opinions are welcome, just looking for the best route I can take.

38R will be at its limits trying to get 500hp... So I would look at a T4 set up, H2e or like...

230/100's will get you very close to 500hp, 250/100 or 250/200 will do it easier...

Studs, valve springs and such...

Solid fuel system, built trans...

If you don't want to sacrifice reliability then you need to reconsider your 500hp goal.

I was thinking about a T4, and a built transmission is coming anyway, mine is going downhill. But thanks for the input. I'm just trying to see what I'm gonna have to get, which is gonna be a lot, but better to start planning ahead of time.

BTW, how much horsepower does your truck have? Seems to have a lot of the things I need.

In my last motor I was running 250/200's with compression issues and put down 520hp...

With the new motor, 230/100's I should be very close to 470-480hp, but no dyno to prove it at this point...

I put down 467 with 238/80's and a 38R years ago...

Yeah, Roswell. Never been to the track here in Carlsbad, heard it sucked.
