TS 6-pos and 18K

I was considering stacking the 2. Anyone done it? Potential problems? Opinions welcome.

TS is a chip that plugs into your PCM< and adds 50 75, 100, 140 HP depending on the settimgs.

If you are talking about the 18K (10k aka poor mans tuner) mod, yes people do stack the two. The 18K bumps up the Oil Pressure which gives you better throttle response and I suppose when stacked with a chip which gives you better Hp in the powerband makes for a pretty linear throttle response rather then an elastic one. I have not stacked the two personally.

It looks like the dyno chart for the 18K alone is a bit less linear than stock. but with a chip in the mix who knows. Guess my question is after the TS would the 18k be worth doing? The FPR shim woke up the low end throttle response so I'm not after that so much as I am a few cheap ponies

Consider the price? Would it be worth the few bucks it costs to try it? I'd say why not?

Not yet, the 18k is sitting right here, I just need to get out and do it. I'm sure I will get to it this week sometime. I'll let you know.
