Turbo-Back Exhaust?

I am wanting to put a new exhaust system on my truck bit I am curious if there will be any issues with the law.

I am looking at putting the RBP Turbo Back exhaust but will it meet the laws for NYC?

This is the exhaust:

jesus a grand for that!

do yourself a favor get either a 4 inch diamond eye or mbrp for only 260 bucks!
same exact kit as that its just not painted black. that will stay black only if you never offroad then it will be brown haha.

and if you want stainless over aluminized its only like 320-380 for stainless.

check your local laws. i dont know if you have to smog your pickup or not. definately dont get rid of the cat if you do. save it.
i just put a 4 inch diamond eye on my dads pickup for 258 from alligator performance.
it is the system with the muffler and it isnt too loud but sounds good.

Well I don't want just a tip. I want a whole new exhaust kit as I want more power and the engine to breath better as well as louder sound.

So what would you suggest?

Also I tried searching but nothing came up so I guess I will have to call someone.

I just put on a MBRP 4" straight pipe kit, no cat, no muffler. It was only $280 on amazon. Shop around and find the lowest price. With an exhaust, name brand doesnt matter. They are all the same except for price.

That is what I was wondering is what is the difference between each brand. An I can't have a straight pipe sadly because of my state laws. So turboback is my best bet.

The difference between having a muffler and running straight is not much different in the way of sound but you do lose performance with restricting air. The truck will be loud either way so you could have a straight pipe and mask a muffler around the straight pipe with a quick fab job to give it the visual effect of a muffler to pass a visual inspection.
