Mine makes about 31-32 psimax with the red line disconnected and my other mods.

Heck, try it out! Just remember, the wastegate opens at 22-24psi for a reason. If you force your stock turbo to see 30+ psi all the time, it
will damage it eventually. I have had mine unplugged for sometime now 1+yr. It does get out of it's 'safe' range now and then, but I try not to hammer on it too bad all the time...
