4 inch or 5 inch straight pipe

I have a 99 7.3 and am looking to straight pipe it, im wondering the diffrence between a 4 inch and 5 inch straight pipe, i want it to be loud but still sound good. Also can anyone recommend me a kit for it? Thanks

Plus MBRP is quite reliable. Make sure you get a 4" downpipe too

I have 5" straight... the choppy reverb is awesome! Turns a lot of heads... lose a tad bit on the bottom end but makes up for on the top.

I've got the 5", my buddy has the 4". I prefer the 5" as I like being the loudest diesel on the block, but only for that reason.

5in is just a deeper louder sound then the 4in. Personaly you better off buing the pipe and making it your self and have a side dump infront of the wheel cuz its way cheaper and only kills a few hours
