Running 160/100% Swamps Injectors On Split Shot Tuning? For Now

I just ordered My new injectors Swamps stage 2 160/100%'s could I run it with split shot tuning in the maintime or should I wait for my DP F5 to get reburnt. before I install the injectors. How long could I run it with split shot tuning? and is there any other negative effects of doing so? I know the basic symptoms rough/lopey idle sensitive throttle bad MPG but is there any other effect's? Thanks in advance.

I'd ditch the DP tuner chip... Never wait for tunes again, get yourself a Powerhungry performance Hydra chip...

Power Hungry Performance - Hydra Chip

I'd return the junk Glowshift gauges and get some quailty gauges by Isspro...

but yes, you can run the injectors on split shot tuning for a short time without harm.

CSIPSD How's your 6.0 IC doing? did you notice any power differences or EGT's drop? Was it worth it I happen to have a spare 06 IC laying that I was planing on using it on my 7.3.

Also How long is this "short time"?

6.0 intercooler is a waste of time.

Short time as in a few days to a week of off and on driving.

Keep in mind with the F-6 chip, your still locked to DP tuning, you can not run anyone elses tuning PERIOD.

If you want to try something better, your going to have to run better hardware.

There's nothing wrong with DP. They have great tunes as do most of the other tuners. Some people have just had bad experiences which happen with all companies from time to time. CSIPSD just happens to be really vocal about his bad experiences. Don't let one person persuade you either way when there are plenty of people happy with DP.

I run F6 tuners in both of my trucks and just just sent Jody money for more tunes earlier today. I'm not saying DP is the best but there's nothing wrong with them either.

There are plenty of people out there who now drive CR swapped rigs or gave up all together because of one particular tuner... You can not say that about any other tuner...

I know of one person who had three motors go... Of course he now drives a CR swapped rig...

I know nothing about dp but i do like the option of being able to switch tuners with out buying a new chip. I had swamps tunes and hated them. Truck shifted bad, was real erractic, etc.. i switched to beans

2000 F250 XcabSB, 4x4, 4" strait pipe, DIY intake, FRx, BDP tunes, WW2, 6.0 cooler, BTS VB, gauges, 55w digital projector HIDs
