Custom Tune & Gauges - What is currently the best setup?

My duramax had Efi live 2 position switch and and edge lcd just for the gauges. That combo was about $450. I am definitely looking for the best bang for the buck.

Technology always changes, so I was wondering what the best setup IN YOUR OPINIONS would be. My truck will have minor mods, a 4" lift with 35s and 4" downpipe -5" exhaust.

Thoughts? Thanks!

custom tuned chip like this Tony Wildman Performance Chips and a set of gauges will be the cheapest.... unless you want to go with a digital display then you can go with the edge insight CTS or CS...

Thanks Raul. I will look into that. I only need a tow and a mileage tune. How do i get a hold of wildman tuning? I googled, but just came up with lots of forum stuff.

it wouldnt be worth just buying a chip for 2 tunes.... we are a dealer so i can get you a deal on it...

2 tuned chip would run you 375.00 where as a 6 position chip you can get for about 425.00...
this kit would come with both the chip and gauges http://stealth-automotive.com/index....roduct_id=1856

Thanks. That is more than what I was looking to pay. I saw somewhere a 2 position custom tune and set of gauges for around $500. I will find the link.

you can get a php phoenix 6 pos chip for 300.
then i bought my autometer gauges and pod for less than 300 altogether off of ebay.
so thats 600 and thats pretty much the cheapest.

dp tuner has their infinity which is all in one but i think its like 550 or more.

The infinity does allot more than gauges and tunes. Its unbelievable what it can do.
If you don't mind spending a little more i think its definitely worth the money. On the fords you can get a 16 position chip and the infinity to switch on the fly.
