banks power elbow

i want to get rid of my ebpv i was wondering if the banks power elbow does this or not if no how do i get rid of the ebpv?

Yes the Banks power elbow does get rid of the valve. If you live in a cold area they say to get the Banks brake unit that mounts on the elbow. But you're in NO, looks like you'll be fine.

You could remove/gut the Ebpv or weld it open.

The power elbow is larger in diameter than the stock outlet which allows for more air flow than just opening it up. Not sure what they're asking for the elbow though and if it'd be worth the extra green.

I wasn't sure about the power enhancements either, so I wouldn't know if it would be worth the green. I suppose every little bit helps, as long as you don't go overboard with PMRs!

The larger dia outlet will bring the egts down some every little bit helps when you are towing heavy up steep grades

power elbow

i have the power elbow and it is good and maybe brings down the egt's a few degrees but it is also a good thing to get a non egbv mor what ever it is pedistal. they are cheap and the wont leak. long island diesel performance has them for around 100 bucks.
