You will find many many happy Garrett customers and probably 1 very unhappy one. I love my Garrett and have NO issues at all. Mike at airflo.com hooked me up for under $1600

Not a bad price. Did you notice a diffenece in hp? did to seem to get up and go better? What is you boost (psi) running now, compared to stock? How long did it take you to put the new turbo on? how does the turbo get oil? there isn't an oil line or anything

Mine spools very fast compared to stock. I typically see around 34-35 psi at WOT. I had a TN Journal bearing and while I never had a problem, it was laggy for me.

The turbo itself takes around 2 hrs to remove/install, at least that what it takes me. The Garrett Ball Bearing and the Turbonetics are drop in turbo meaning they mount in the stock location and do not require any modification so oil supply is the same as your stock turbo.

Also, Dennis @ ITP Diesel sells the Garrett too.. He's usually competitive on price.

It depends on how you look at it and what your goals are for now and the future. I love the H2E setup.

My guess is you're going to run out of fuel before you gain too much power over stock...
