New turbo wheel

I am thinking about changing my turbo wheel (for what I dont know ), and I am eyeballing the Banks wheel. Good idea or bad? I dont really know if there is a benefit from doing this but I figure a new wheel is better than the one I got. I just need to know if an aftermarket wheel will work or would I fare better with an oem? I have read something about the stock wheel "flattening out" at higher boost levels but Im not sure what they mean. Thanks for yalls input. SHane

Sorry I don't really know but i too would think you could find a better one than stock.Off topic but i have a buddy that is looking at the TS six position and i was wondering how the commander worked with it. does it only work as guages or do you switch the chip with it too?Is the power and shifting good with the TS?

As I understand it, the commander cant control the Ts chip just yet. They are working on it. The commander could control the TS if the Ts were only a 4 position, not a six. At least thats what I make out of the situation. Anyway, the Ts is pretty awesome once you get used to it. The more right foot, the firmer the shifts. Yep, I have barked 2nd in my truck (auto) a few times and wasnt trying. I had pushed my foot down and then let off but it was too late! CHIRP! The knob that controls the TS chip can be mounted ,which makes it easy to switch on the fly. If it was controlled elsewhere, it might not be as easy. I can put mine in whatever setting I want and never look at it.If I can, I will take a pic of my Ts knob and post it. Imade an aluminum bracket and mounted it. Turned out pretty neat. Sorry to ramble on ya but I am just getting used to my setup and am starting to like it more and more! Good luck on your decision.

If you have noticed any turbo surge while towing, it would be worth the money....BUT...if you have not noticed anything, and your current compressor wheell is in good shape, i dont think it would be worth it......just my two cents...

Hey sea71, appreciate the information. Sounds like the setup you have is awesome! Chirping the tires in second gear! sounds like you've got plenty of horses under the hood. I will difinitely recommend this setup to my friend. He has a bullydog 4 position switchable chip in his other identical pickup and likes it too but when on the 75 and 100 hp settings the truck really does clatter awfully loud. He would like a chip and some guages for his latest truck and i really like the sound of ur setup.
