DP-Tuner question

Weird problem. When I honk the horn, the DP-Tuner flip switch display flickers and the engine either stumbles or completely dies. Any suggestions?

99 1/2 CC 4x4 dually Lariat A/T 4.10s w/63k miles
Mods-Tymar intake, DP-Tuner , Autometer gauges, zoodad and 4" Bully Dog Exhaust.

Other toys- 88 Suzuki Samurai 4x4 lifted 6"
Polaris 500 HO RSE 4x4 and Yellow 700 4x4
05 Jeep Liberty Limited CRD 4x4

LOL... Remove tuner...

The DP nuts will come around and tell you to add beads to the line... or they will tell you its because of your cheap HID kit... or something other then a piss poor design.

Don't listen to Joe he hates us because he used drugs on his truck and it blew up. Whaaah!

Mykol, did you call earlier? We stopped using the flat ribbon cable 2 months after the F5 came out in 2006 to tighten up the interference from certain cheap HID ballasts being poorly made and freaking out the PCM. Yes, It was to keep RF from freaking out our product. Not what Joe has so poorly explained.

I'll be happy to send you a new cable. Just let me know.

Put on DP Tuner F5 chip about a month ago and love it! Absolutley no problems at all and truck runs great!

I removed a DP Tuner F5 chip about three months ago and love it! Absolutely no problems at all and truck runs great!

I haven't received the new cable yet. When I do, I will install and accurately report the results. Ok, CSIPSD?

As for my experience with DP-Tuner, I couldn't be happier! I will not offer any negative comments about other brands of tuners that I have not tried, but I love the results and am glad I chose the DP-Tuner.

00' F350 CC DRW still pushing well past 300K: 6637, GTP38R, 5.6k mod on turn dial, superchips, trans command, Torque pro on Galxy S2 for PID monitor, OD lock, 4" straight pipe, condensor cooler w/electric fan, watersprayed intercooler, 08' taillights, 05' headlights, BD valve body kit, all door locks foiled, full LED exterior light kit, and the list is still growing.
