big oil ??

Since were getting this stimulus check I want to put in the pulse hpop. How much of a difference does it make on the low end? Cause pulling the skid she's great once you get above 1500. But lags a little down low. Any milage helps too.

I would talk to Bean, he can give you the best advice. I would think it would help if you get a tune thats set up for it and for pulls. Try TW tunes . Not gonna help mpg..at least from my personal experience.

Down low big oil is a huge difference while towing however I don't know about the pulse at low RPM's. I have dual pumps so they flow twice the oil at low RPM than stock. You have to have tunes to utilize the added ICP. My EGT's dropped over 100* while towing and I picked up 1 mpg when I went big oil as well.

You pick the pony and ride it after you have made an informed decision.

So u would suggest the dual route? Is it a lot harder to install than a single?

If you deside you need one ,I would get a DYI Stealth or the new Stealth single..either way install is easy.

The new stealth single says it runs over 4000psi. Does the double stealth or others like terminator run even more than that. I want big oil as well and I don't know which brand to get. Stealth, pulse, term. ?

I typically see around 3600 psi, but can't get them to work properly and they leak!

That depends on who is tuning. one tuner likes extreme ICP(3800+) and the rest say 3200psi is all you need to maintain. I run B codes and my ICP is set at 3190psi as fast as it can make it and then it maintains it from there on up to 3500rpm, then it starts to peter off.

Plus from what I have herd from injector builders, more than 3300psi and injectors can not reload as fast with that much oil pressure aginst the poppet valve. I think it was the popped valve he said to me, heck if I remember. However I was told 3200psi max.

I've heard the exact same thing. I believe that there is still a debate about max pressure reloading. I've heard everything from 3100 to 3500. But 3200-3300 is the general rule I've received from some people I trust.

As far as the single vs. dual big oil setups... It seems that the single hpop's are doing a great job so far. I'm watching the dieselsite pulse setup like a hawk. I'm on the fence about which way I'm going go. There are pros and cons for each system. As stated before, it's your decision... and you have a lot of reading to do.

As well as lots of questions to ask. I know I did.
