code reader

After putting in my chip it took about 5 seconds to trip the ses light but it doesn't go away. I had the wastegate disconnected and she went to 30 psi. So I plugged it back in 25psi now. Which code reader should I get to read and clear codes?

The code is most likely for the map sensor because of the over boost. Which means you will need a map fooler to prevent this code and to prevent defueling of the truck when running it hard.

Just swing into a parts store and see if they can read the code for you. Most part stores do this for free.

I did the mechanical one. I went to Home depot bought a Air regulator for an Air Compressor cost me like 15 bucks. Then I got the fittings from Home Depot as well that was like 3 bucks 5 bucks with hose clamps. Then hooked the regulator up to my air compressor and set it to 20 psi. Then I put the fittings on it and then I cut the hose for the map sensor. Then I put the regulator inline. I then ziptied it to the cac tube for the intercooler. I have not had any problems with it at all. If I need to remove it I can cut the zip ties and remove the cac tube for maintenance if needed.

But some people like the Boost Anihlator from ITP.

Your choice but the Zener is about $1 and takes only minutes to install.
