edge evolution or ts 6 pos?

I've got a stock 99 f250. cat delete is only mod. I 'm not lookin for a race truck, a little better pulling power and better mpg is all I'm after. I've narrowed my search down to the old school edge evolution or the ts 6 position chip. I'd like to hear pro's& cons and why one is or isn't better than the other. thanks, pete

Apples & Oranges,,,, you can't compare the real programming available in a 6-pos chip with the half-assed choices in an "old school edge". Apples & Oranges....

Its all in your needs and wants. Most on here say the custom chips are the best which yes they are better then the "canned tunes" such as the edge. I been running the gameboy edge that you are looking at for 20,000 miles and have yet to have an issue. Though your best milage will be in the race tune for it not the eco tune unless you driving short distances and through town, then eco works well. I run mine on race 95% of the time unless im hauling then I use tow and it give my truck all the power i currently need. Before any programer/chip though your gonna need gauges! I got Evo on ebay for 50 bucks so i could save up for a chip. If you dont mind waiting 10min to switch tunes on your truck the evo is good but switch on the fly you want the chip. Again it is dependant on what your needs and plans are for the truck

I have a ts in my 01 f-350 with beans diesel performance tunes. I like that you can switch tunes in .02 seconds depending on mood rather than sitting there and loading them up Nd waiting. Plus with ts you can send them somewhere like beans and have them tune for exactly what you want out of it instead of a can tune.

I would give Power Hungry Performance a call and order up one of there Hydra chips.

There is NO better option on the market right now for the 7.3...

You dont need custom tunes with stock injectors and such, but the options avalable with the Hydra can not be beat!!!
