Tuner

I have a old old hypertech tuner from 2000 on my truck it only has one setting lol but it's been on my truck since 2001 when the truck was new it does give it some extra power. I want a new programmer not a chip but I want the best one or should I just go with a 6 pos chip I put a beans chip in a friends f 550 and man it made good power I just like a tuner better to read codes any advice.

Yea I thought about that but the old hypertech won't just read the codes you have to go through the whole 30 min tuning process. I was looking at a sct tuner. My other option would be the beans or tw chip
