Ts question

Is the programming for the Ts chip set up in a way that does not give a tremendous amount of power out the hole? Just curious.

Clean to the point of almost making copper shavings. anyway, this is the 2nd chip. They both have been identical in performance except for small glitch in the first one. I was just curious about the programming. I hear people talk about the tires breaking loose and all. I can stomp it from a dead stop and the tires act like they want to spin but they just shimmy back and forth and then grab. If I want to spin, I have to use the brake. It just makes me curious if I am missing something or does the chip not give a lot of power out the hole for whatever reason. It may not have anything to do with the chip. As I said, Im just curious.

That TS chip cranked up should really move you on out on down low power.

I just put mine in on my 03 7.3L PSD, and while the initial hit of the pedal is still laggy, as soon as it grabs the first bit of power, I feel mine pulling WAY strong out of the bottom as compared to stock. The bottom to mid pull is way more than what it was, but the first initial, or shock of mashing the pedal is slightly hesitant. I still have to learn to get out of the pedal with those firm tranny shifts. I have left it on the 75hp setting, and only tried the 140hp setting once, while doing a power brake, WOW! But the 75hp setting will bark the tires on its shift cycle....

Our motors have turbo lag if u just stomp on them from a stop. Power braking is used so u can spool up the turbo. Try to make as close to 10 pounds of boost as u can then let off the break and lay into it. When I do this with my truck, the tires go crazy if u dont feather it and I still dont even have exhaust.

Hey Payne,

Not to jump off the subject or thread jack, but where in Philly are you? I was stationed at NAS JRB Willow Grove for 6 1/2 years while I was in the Navy. Got out in 2002 after 9yrs....
