High Pressure Crossover

I was wondering what all of you guys think about the High Pressure Crossover line for the high pressure oil. I've considered doing this, along with shimming the fuel regulator. If anyone has done one or both of these, I'd sure appreciate some opinions. And if any of the vendors have opinions on products or methods, that'd be great too. Thanks everyone.

David

I spent some time on the phone the other night talking with one of our vendors on the site. He is running the crossover on his truck as well and said he didn't notice anything more a little quieter and smoother idle. It won't have anything to do with the shimming of the regulator, but I have done that personnally along with alot of folks on here, and it makes a moderate difference just bumping to 70 psi.

Alright, thanks Adam. Everyone says the hpx will smooth out the idle. More like a 6.0?

Cool Xover

I love the smooth sound after the crossover install. The fuel pressure is an easy fix. DI sells a cap for the fuel filter to replace the factory reg. It has a 1/8 pipe port that I plumbed to an ajustable rice rocket reg. If you use the boost port on the reg. your fuel pressure will rise with the boost. Took about a half hour and $30.00. The real tone change in the engine comes from my AFS unit. Does sound just like my 6.0 side by side and a real broad power band.
