Angry Why so slow?

Are custom tunes over rated?

I got beat by a beater 7.3 running and older edge evolution and no gauges that I could see. (Maybe the edge does that?)

It was stinking close, I was at his door, but I still lost. WTF? Shouldn't I blow away an edge tuned truck away with my super duper DP 120 and fancy billet wheel? And fancy built tranny? And fancy 4" exhaust? He had stock exhaust even

I'm even running some well worn 33's that I'm trying to use up and he was on 35's

I know I'm heavier, but come on!

Ok, vent off

Maybe my injectors are worn out

How many miles are on the injectors?

Also, what type of boost are you seeing? Have you monitored ICP and IPR duty cycle?

There are many things that can cause a truck to be a dog. With a properly running truck, you will see very significant gains with custom tunes.

Gearing is also a big factor depending from a dig or roll.

Saw the truck again. I think it was an 04 with a 6.0 that had a driver side door replaced from a 7.3. It was a beater after all
So if it is in fact a 6.0 I have nothing to feel too bad about

Justin, I'm not meaning to rip on DP. I like you guys and I don't hold the tunes responsibe for my heavy truck being a slug.
I hit 30 psi pretty easy. 250,000 ish miles on my injectors. Ipr psi and DC are strong driving around, but psi drop and duty cycle goes to 99% if I stay on the throttle too long.
I'm really leaning towards tired injectors.
