Question Best daily driver mode/setting for Edge Evolution II?

Ok so I got my edge evolution II updated and installed in my truck. I am currently using the lowest performance setting "Towing" for daily driving. I have heard some bad things about edge products smoking transmissions.

Now I have a couple of questions. Is it okay to daily drive on the lowest "tow" setting? I am a very conservative driver and I don't race or tow much at all with my truck. I know that sounds contradicting, but I just like having the little extra performance over stock. I just want to make sure the truck isn't trying to increase the tranny in a way to compensate for towing a load when im just cruising, therefore resulting in premature failure of the transmission.

Also, what is everyone else running for your daily driving setting?

sounds like you already know the answer. I would only run it for the monitor funciton, not hp boosting.

When I was ruining the evo2 I ran it on level2. Just keep your foot out of it or you will drink the fuel! The evo tunes seem to be very aggressive early on the pedal. It will feel faster than it is. The towing tune stinks when you are towing! Now I use the evo2 for gauges and have a ts chip with gearhead tunes.

First, get exhaust (straight pipe, BTM, or kit), next intake, then put it on l3 and enjoy.

Best daily driver tune with edge is stock, trust me your trans will thank you. I would rather run stock tuning over an off the shelf programmer any day, trannys aren't fun to replace or cheap. My best advice is get custom tunes, I know that's not really answering the question you're asking but I've been around the block with the 7.3. You want it setup for the way you drive with your tuning, not just some program genetically written 7 years ago for the brand of truck.

Sold 2001 f250 ccsb 4x4 400/400, dual terminators, swamps 80mm bfh, headers, bts and all the usual supporting mods. 715hp fuel only.
