Way too much money for what you get. Plus the will not honor the warranty it if you race or sled pull with it.

Go price that suncoast again. Suncoast does not come with the converter. The suntoast will cost $3867 plus freight. That is just for a basic rebuild. If you want the heavy duty tow kit that comes with the dual load center support and the trans go tugger kit, that is another $390. Now for you to compare the suntoast to a BTS or John Wood, both $3900 against the equivalent suntoast for $4257. That does not include any billet parts for big power either. The suntoast is $4492 with a billet input shaft and it is $4400 for the John Wood with a billet input shaft in it. $4300 for the basic ATS and if you add a billet input shaft it is $5128. I just don't see how the suntoast is cheaper.

You got a trans with suncoast parts in it built by a local shop with a nationwide suncoast warranty?

Had this builder you used made your trans to install at a later date you would not have had a core charge?
