Innercooler Question
!!!PainTrain!!! stopped by my shop this past Saturday. He was telling me he put an aftermarket innercooler in his 6.0 PSD. He said if I wanted his stock one I could have it. My questions are this: How hard is it to install the 6.0 innercooler in my 1999 7.3? Will I need to do any mods to get it in? About how long do you think it takes to install?

I put the 6.0 IC in my 1999.5 and it was simple only thing you have to get is a 3" to 3 1/4" boost tube boot for the Passenger Side IC Tube heres were I got mine www.dieselsite.com and as far as fit it will fit just as good as the stock one. Install takes a couple hours good to have a extra hand to help get old out and new in.

Depends on the intercooler. Some are 3.5" some are 3.25". When you get the intercooler measure to see what size they are then order the boots.
