chips

I have a stock 00 f350 and I am looking to put in a chip. The truck has 100,000 miles on it, is this smart and what am I able to use that will not hurt my truck

Before you get a chip you need to get gauges specifically EGT, boost and trans temp if its an automatic.

Then i would look into a chip from either DP Tuner or Tony Wildman. They are the 2 best 7.3 tuners there is

thanks, i have a manual, i was planning on getting gauges when buying the chip I was just curious what hp chip could I get being stock

i would get the auto meter 2 gauge kit and a TW chip... price depends on how many positions you want... i would also highly recommend you do a DIY tymar intake and a 4" TB echaust... let me know if you have any questions

i ran a 6 position chip up to 140hp with a stock truck, exhaust and intake only.
