I dont have one yet Im waiting for my new afe itake to come in first. From what I understand it is a hole you cut behind your grille to let more fresh air get to your intake. Some guys even run some fex pipe from the hole to the intake tube. Hope this helps. It is a diy

gimme a bit ill post some pics a buddy took of me doing mine on my Ex. a Zoodad is a small yet functional Ram air intake u make by cutting into the housing behind the grill. let me grab those pics and you'll see just where it is and if you go look at ur intake housing on your truck u can see just whats going on...

and forgive me about how gay this pic looks, booze was involved....it had just finished raining and it was FREEZING (i dunno whay my bud decided to get in the pic and give a thumbsup but w/e


Anyhow it took about 15 minutes to do and none of us had done it before.

It only took me maybe 5 minutes to do mine and I had never done it before. You can also go to the tech forums and get some other ideas on DIY mods.
