Okay Guys.... I fubar'd can anyone help me try and slavage?

Okay guys... I Fubar'd today... got a bullydog GT tuner off KSL (like craigslist for the salt lake area) got it for a screamin deal of a price (50.00 from a bully dog dealer... floor demo... factory sealed package) got it home and whoo hoo its NOT vin locked (major plus) I read the book and it says it works on gas and diesel trucks (nice)... i down load the diesel file for my 2000 7.3 and it installs to the card...

I unplug it and re plug it in (as directed) and all its telling me now that its the GAS model NOT the diesel model... so i trued three times to format the SD card on it and re install the diesel files, and i still get the GAS tuner files showing for a 06+ CHEVY....

Any Ideas?

Is the gt tuner really able to do both vehicles? or did i get the gas tuner? and if i did get the gas tuner can it be flipped to diesel via software/internet update?

Im sure b.dog is gonna want the 100.00 to clear it all out and walk me thru the steps all over again, but if theres anyone here that can help Id appriciate it... to iether do a clean factory reset .... or what files i need to delete to get it like it was comming out of the box... i think i have a corrupted file in there some where.

to be honest i would rather pay a fellow mwmber the 100.00 to fix it than bully dog...

Not many people on here will know about bully dog. Btw its a common issue to have the software mess up, I'm sure bully dog will fix their crap not working right for free as they have in every case I've heard. My best advice tho is post it for sale on craigslist for $300 then call php and get tunes from them with that $300.

Sold 2001 f250 ccsb 4x4 400/400, dual terminators, swamps 80mm bfh, headers, bts and all the usual supporting mods. 715hp fuel only.
