K&N Filter ?

I picked up a 01 that has had one run in it . I plan to remove and get a new filter as soon as I get it home. At tranny shop now. Was bad when I picked up the truck. I ran the big honking filter on my Cummins. I will probably go a simalar route on this F 250 . What if any thing do I need to do to the turbo with a K & N being run in it before I picked it up . Thanks Mike

Pull the intake tube and take a look in the turbo. You will see some oil from the CCV, that's normal. What you don't want to see is the blades looking like they have been sandblasted.

If you can post up the dimensions of the K&N I can get you the part number for a dry filter to make it a little easier on you if you are looking to swap filters.
