They have been a few out there than have had a set that ran good. Try a set of stage 2's from Beans Diesel or a set of DIY stage 2's.

Humbug county? Where? I was raised in Redway.

I would look into doing the DIY stage 1C, $785. It will take about day to do. They are 160cc flow rated. DIY-Injectors.com

Have you talked to Ponci's diesel about injectors?

Is it the injector or the under valve cover harness(UVC harness)? The way to check if the injector is the problem is move injector #8 to hole #6 and see if the problem moves or stays. If it moves it is the injector, if it stays at #8 it is the UVC harness.

Then when the injector is out, you can inspect it. The info you need can be had at diy-injectors.com or by calling Jim at Rosewood diesel. Maybe it is the armature gap. You need to do some testing and such.

Not to hijack, but will the stock hpop keep up with the DIY stage 3 hybrids?

The whole point of hybrids is to not need oil. I would set a SES light for ICP with my stage 2's quite often, but not more then twice with the hybrids.

Nope, hybrids are just fine with stock oil.
