Under-estimated Edge.

Just Got my new Edge Evolution in and WOW..it seriously woke up my truck...i have a friend with TS and with his on 140 and mine on 100 i will run with his truck. This Edge is the newest version in 2008. I have tried a 2004 version and big difference. Only dislike yet is now shift on the fly. But believe me, Extreme setting will set me sideways easily in third gear, and scratch fourth. Anyone else come across the new version?

I dont know? what year and version do you have, possibly i could check up on it for you. Alot of people that say the edge evo is junk need to give this a little more credit. Running with wildman tunes on "generic" tunes is crazy..i showed a couple turned up CTD's last night what a "slow" 7.3L is all about, and how good my euro tailights look in the dark fog...haha

production date 7/11/2007. It's a evo 2. After reading your post I went and got it out of the truck and hooked it it up and went online. It said there was an update available so I down loaded it. I'll see tommarow if i can tell a difference. I never seem to find anyone to race from a stop light. So I just smoke them out. :burnout

Gettin some pretty good smoke...acually alot lol..its fun and expensive to watch the 3.29 a gallon dollar fuel drifting in the air. sum it up, lotta power and smoke!

Yea but it's worth every penny Just to look down into that little rice puffer car at the next light and see the stupid look on the drivers face while thay are trying to figure out what just happened and how the hell this 7,000 lb diesel truck just kicked their *** is worth every penny

I did the software update and I seemed to have lost about 2lbs of boost. It used to move good on level 3, and now it just smokes and doesn't really feel as good as it did. I leave it on level 2 99% of the time, so I changed it back to that setting for now. Level 2 feels a little better, the shift feel better as it used to feel like it would bang into gear.
