edge problems need help!!

I was programming another truck today and my edge locked up on me. My truck was returned to stock and the edge allowed us to put his truck in tow mode and then when we tried to change it to race mode, it said vehicle mismatch and return previous vehicle to stock. Anyone else heard of this? Now i can't even get it to work on my truck. It will let us run the live pcm stream and access codes, but won't allow the change of performance mods.

This happened to me once with my evolution.I went to edge.com and downloaded thier fusion program. This allowed me to connect my box to my computer. It checked my programs and fixed it. It also added a upgrade of a fourth setting of transmission only. I hope this helps

So how did you connect it to your comp? Did it cost anything?

You should have got a cord in the box when you bought the edge. There is a port on the side where you can connect.

Are we talking about the same evolution? Mine is the obd style plug model. The only port on mine is where the obd connection goes into it.
