Pcm

Hey guys got a qs maybe you can help me out I talked to tony about reburning my chip in my truck and he said I should do a later year PCM cause I have a early 99PS so what do I do when I go get a new PCM I was gonna go to ford cause I get cost through my dads shop.So I wanted to know what info I need to give them to get the PCM or if I went to junk yard to get one what I need to look for tony told me PMT1 or NVk so maybe you all can help me out here.

Any one of the codes listed on the other post will work fine. PMT1-3 or NVK0-5. I *THINK* strokin' updated to the PMT1 and I have a PMT2 now.

I now have PMT1, Dirk has PMT2, Jake has PMT3, Wooner has PMT1. Quite a few early birds have updated. And only dirk does not have the green cruise light....Ha Ha

When you get custom tuning on a late 99+ pcm, it does not matter. Some tuners have their favorite. Jody at DP told me he didn't care as long as I got away from the XLE series. He can only tune them so much. And that goes for any tuner.

O ok not to be dumb or anything if I get a new one from ford what do I have to give them to order it the old # off my pcm or what Ill do the PMT 1 or NVk

Found one on ebay NVK5 for 165 starting bid its out of a 2000 the # is XC3F-12A650-BG my old # is F81F-12A650-BF
