Need information about mods

I have a 2000 f250 7.3 diesel and i have a bully dog 6 posistion chip and 3 pillar guages and 4 inch straight pipe. I was just wondering if i could make my truck faster if i had some different mods. just wondering if you guys have some ideas for some mods that work good to give the truck some horsepower.

Don't mickey mouse around with Bully Dog or Banks.

Call Jody at DP Tuner.

I would add:

DIY intake or other aftermarket intake like an AFE
overboost annihilator from ITP Diesel
turbomaster wastegate controller from diesel site

Then find out if Tony Wildman can put his custom tuning on your current chip. If he can great, if he can't then get a DP tuner. By far of all the different tuners I have run DP tuner is the best.

That will make a world of difference right there with those 4 mods. If nothing else at least add an intake no matter what.

I have the BD 6 position chip in my 97 and have had more fun with it than any other add on mod.

If you want that kind of power then you need a built tranny, Turbonetics BB or Garret GT38R BB and Stage II's around 400 and Stage III's around 450 with supporting and a Custom burned chip by TW or DP Tuner (Jody) and also if your truck is a 2000 it could have PMR's instead of forged connecting rods you'd have to check and if so limits you to around 400 horses.

^^^^^^what he said. You have a little homework to do. Forged rods are needed for over 400hp.
