Not sure about the hp gains or smoke unless you have some tuning to go with the injectors. I don't think you will need a fass fuel system, but you will probably need to atleast upgrade the stock to a regulated return at the least. I think the only thing that you will need is big oil unless you go with some hybrid injectors.

Hey man all you need for stage 2s is a regulated return fuel system and your chip will have to be reburned so the truck will idle right for single shots ur turbo will work fine for now. And you dont need big oil even if you did the stage 3mini me hybrids those injectors use no more oil than stock ones do they act use less oil thats what david at diesel innovations told me the only thing is for these you need a regulated return fuel system and a fass system is required if you turn ur chip all the way up because if you dont have the fass setup you will burn the tips off the injectors but if you run ur chip in a lower tune you will be ok ur stock turbo will work for now but you would need to go to a garrete ball bearing turbo but with those mods ur truck will make 450hp very easy ive seen one truck that made almost 500hp no problem and yes you will blow smoke.

I was also told by Kevin at Black Widow Diesel that with Stage II or III Single Shots with the proper tuning you do not need big oil but if you had a Early 99 would need to upgrade to the 17* HPOP but you should be fine your 2002 already has one. I just got my Donor Injectors so I can take them and have my Stage II DIY Injectors built and flow tested should be putting them in next sunday I'll post up when its done and let you know how it runs.
