Got my guages today

I got my Isspro guages today and was wondering what was the best to use to clean the pod before painting?

I was kinda wondering if that wouldn't work. I just didn't want to use something that would foul thinks up. I'll have to wait a few days to install. Everything came except they shipped the wrong color of paint. I called them today and right color will be shipped. Just going to take a few days. Thanks for the info.

I think I used paint stripper and rubbed it down good and let it dry

Think that would work also. Just so the paint will bond good. I got my tracking number and my paint should be here Friday. Then I should be good to go on the install. I got mine from Diesel Manor and the install sheet sure goes into a lot of detail. It should make the install a piece of cake. Thumbs up for Diesel Manor!!!!!

i got mine through there too the install went pretty smooth but my thermocouple was messed up, and luckily my intake was already tapped and plugged

I have looked all my parts over and things look good. When I get the mount painted I'll try to getter Done Ha!! Sorry to here your probe was damaged. There is always something to take the fun out of things.Did you have to trim any on the factory pillar so the guages wouldn't hit? I test fit the guages in the mount and it kinda looked like the bottom and bolt of the guages would be close to hitting the factory pillar. I haven't fit it to the factory pillar yet and when I do things may look different. I kinda wanted to fit everything before I paint it. Diesel Manor was real helpful and the shipping was fast. Again thumbs up to them!!
